Today I went to the opticians, and had my eyes examined, which was good because I was definitely overdue for having bright lights shone in my face and my eyes prodded to hell and back. Because of my lack of job, I get free eye tests and free lenses, so now I've just got to get together £115 ($230.34US) for the frames I want. I managed to narrow it down to two but I can't decide which I like better, which is weird because I usually decide on a pair before I even leave the shop. Still.

I'm gonna go back and get pictures with them on my face so I can ask opinions. Mostly so I can Reject, but she's already telling me I should take the prescription and pop off to Specsavers and get some cheaper frames. Really, I can't afford these but I also can't afford to get £50 frames and have them fall to pieces, or bend or whatever, which has happened every time I've had cheaper glasses. The FCUK ones were the best and most resillient frames I've ever had, they lasted almost 2 years which was damn impressive for something that I've had in my posession. Just bad luck and overuse made them snap and now I need equally resillient ones. The FCUK ones were £135 ($270.39US), so I've gone down a little bit.
